10 day You challenge : Wants

This one was tougher than I expected it would be.
 How does one "share" what one "wants" without sounding like a greedy person? Yeah, I have no idea either.

*sigh*

7 wants

1. I want an authentic faith walk that people can see and know that Jesus is my one and only

2. To travel...without having to worry about saving money.
I want to see all those places I have read about.
Does anyone have a map to Narnia

3. I want a successful BlogI put a lot of time in my posts. I spent just hope that my efforts are seen.

4. I want to break 50 followers. {currently at 33}

5To go to  meet Dave Ramsey for the sole purpose of going on his nationally syndicated talk show and screaming
 "We're debt free" live on the air so millions of people can hear our success story. (plus I want to sign his debt free wall too) Yep, still a work in progress but we are going to get there!

6. I want to live in a much bigger house out in the middle of the country surrounded by trees.
Even a rambling farmhouse or something like Mark Twain's house will do.  I want oodles of space for my children to explore and enjoy.  Nooks and crannies filled with mystery and imagination.

There as many small children in our home and we have {at least it feels like we have},outgrowing our current accommodations. It's getting harder and harder to find a space in our home that does not have toys strewn about!

7. I want to go back to school but not until Punky is older and doesn't need me as much.  My dream is to become a registered dietician.  Surprised?

So, maybe my "wants" aren't as self centered as I was fearing.
I don't want a closet full of fancy clothes.  I'm much more comfortable in jeans and a hoodie.  I don't want an unlimited amount of money in my bank account so I can adorn my body with fine gems and I find shopping a much bigger event than it ever has to be.  Guess, the "bankers daughter" part of my upbringing is buried in me somewhere.
Wonder how hard it will be to persuade her to take a quick look at our book keeping?

What about you?  What are some things that you want to add to your life?

  3. Hi Sweet Momma! I found you through the Aloha Friday Hop and I see that you want to reach 50 followers, so I've added myself to your GFC list and now I made it 35! I also love Narnia! I read the entire series to my 3 older kids when they were younger. I now have 4 kids. I saw your blog name was "Adventures with Four" and that caught my attention. I think you are a family of four, though, and we are a family of six. I'm looking forward to reading more from you! Have a great day!

  4. Hi. That would be awesome when you get to scream that you're debt free. I drive pass Dave Ramsey's office almost every month since we live in Tennessee. I love hearing when people get debt free. We, too, are in trying to become debt free. Just one day at a time! Keep going and one day your goal/dreams will become reality.

      One baby step at a time!
      You will have to let me know when your getting ready to do your debt free scream so I can tune in.
      We are still stuck on baby step one.
      How about you?

  5. I'd like to add the sight of a smaller number on the bathroom scale. Also more time and inspiration to write.

    Good luck on the Dave Ramsey thing. We love Dave! :-)

      I think everyone over the age of 17 wishes for a smaller number on the bathroom scale.
      We hid ours over a year ago and haven't turned back since!
      {read: the batteries died and I don't want to spend $15 for new ones}
      I use my clothing as a guide.
      Too big and I am still on track.
      Too small and I better start looking at what I am NOT doing!
