Bring on the snow!

Ahh, that feel better.
Just speaking the words like they are magical and the flakes will start any minute now.
I'm serious too.
I actually want it to snow.
I'm not talking a "light dusting" either.
I am NOT referring to what happened a few mornings ago when we opened the front door and were surprised to see two tiny flakes of snow resting on the front stairs.
Leaving us to wonder when that happened.
I'm talking about the "can't open the door to get out of my own house, let the kids outside in the backyard but make sure they are brightly dressed so we can see them" kind of snowfall.
Winter with no snow {or pathetically little} is depressing. boring.
Sledding is out of the question.
With next to now snow it's impossible to build a family of snow-people. {wouldn't that be fun!}
It's almost the middle of January and I feel like we are waiting for winter to start.
Whoever put their finger on pause would you kindly take it off now!
We are ready.... "Bring on the snow!!"
