Lost mittens...

Remember yesterday when I was complaining sharing that I was longing for a little bit of snow? *insert delighted chuckle*
We got snow!!
My joints have been telling me for days that we were were heading into a deep freeze.
Think -30 with the windchill.
Temperatures like that you can expect frozen eyelashes and nose hair.
I wasn't honestly expecting that we were going to get any snow.
So you can imagine my delight when the snowflakes started falling early last night.
We saw 2-4 cm of the white stuff before it tapered off this morning.
The little ones had a chance to spend a few minutes outside playing while the driveway and sidewalks got cleared.



The funny part is at least now it is starting to feel more like winter.
Yet people are complaining.
Umm, HELLO!
We live in Canada people..there are 4 seasons.
Why are we all surprised that the winter finally showed up?
Bundle up and get on with your life.
**scratches head** Which brings me to the "lost mittens".
You remember the story of the three little kittens right?

"The three little kittens, they lost their mittens,"

The three little kittens, they lost their mittens,

I feel like one of the kittens... but I haven't found my mittens.
Guess I shall have no pie? {tee hee}

And, now we are headed into the deep freeze and me with mismatched mittens!!
So, if you see me when I am out and about,
Just smile!
Honestly, I might need to resort to mitten clips
Hmm, **scratches head** wonder how hard they would be to make?
Found an awesome tutorial for bib clips/ mitten clips so I am on the right path!
