10 Day YOU Challenge: four Books

What would you do if there were 28 hours in a day?
Would you spend more time with your friends?
Find time to squeeze in that much needed workout?
I can say for certain that my answer wouldn't be "scrub the soap scum off around the tub" or "fold yet another load of small clothing" I know what I would do...

You would find me curled up on the sofa reading one of my favorite books {I seem to re-read the ones I love a lot}
But which one?

I have read a ton of books so the first 4 that came to mind are the ones I am using.
Actually, I have chosen 3 different series and one "stand alone" book because if your going to get caught up in a book it should be one that you can get lost in for awhile!

Just to give you a small taste I have included  the reviews from Amazon.

Mine would be "This was the best book ever!!" which probably isn't going to sway you into reading them...

Four Books {and one awesome gift idea}

Prequel to The O'Malley series

Book Description

July 28, 1999 O'Malley Series

Sara's terrified. She's falling in love. And if that's not bad enough, it's with former pro football player Adam Black, a man everyone knows. That fact could cost Sara her life. Sara has been invisible, hidden away in a witness protection program from the man who kidnapped her and her sister twenty-five years ago, who caused her sister's death, and who so traumatized Sara that she blocked out the memory of his face. But Sara knows that he's still doing everything possible to find her - and finish her off before her memory returns. Her only safety is in staying invisible, but Adam won't listen, or give up on what they can have together. Soon they're both caught in a chain of events that brings Sara face to face with terror - and with the sure knowledge that only God can save her and set her free from the Danger in the Shadows.

2.  Left Behind

Book 1 in the "Left Behind series"

Book Description
March 31, 2000
An airborne Boeing 747 is headed to London when, without any warning, passengers mysteriously disappear from their seats. Terror and chaos slowly spread not only through the plane but also worldwide as unusual events continue to unfold. For those who have been left behind, the apocalypse has just begun.

3.  The Chronicles of Narnia

Book Description
October 26, 2010 10 and up5 and up
Journeys to the end of the world, fantastic creatures and epic battles between good and evil—the book that has it all is the lion, the witch and the wardrobe, written in 1949 by C. S. Lewis. But Lewis did not stop there. Six more books followed, and together they became known as The Chronicles of Narnia.
For over fifty years, The Chronicles of Narnia have transcended the fantasy genre to become part of the canon of classic literature. Each of the seven books is a masterpiece, drawing the reader into a land where magic meets reality, and the result is a fictional world whose scope has fascinated generations.

4. Three Weddings and a Giggle

                                            Book Description

January 22, 2001
Warning: Laughter ahead! Liz Curtis Higgs delivers again with "Fine Print," where a businessman and the speech coach he's hired have no idea there are matchmakers at work on their behalf! Her novella is part of a delightful triple-header in Three Weddings and a Giggle. The "giggle" comes from Carolyn Zane, whose "Sweet Chariot" drops readers in on two little old ladies who purchase a motor home sight-unseen, then drag their adult grandchildren along for cross-country antics. In Karen Ball's "Bride on the Run," an heiress defies her father's demand that she marry a man she doesn't love. If only she hadn't waited until her wedding day to do so! So it's out the window, down the rose trellis ... and headlong into one escapade after another. Thoroughly fun!

All this talk of reading and I can't think of another thing that I want to do tonight!

Plus, I also found out that one of my favorite authors has a new book due out in October so mom, if you're reading this post here is a great birthday present idea.
You know, in case you were already wondering what to get me...
