When God chisels the dead weight out of our lives it can be quite painful. In this new high quality, remastered version of their most requested skit, Tommy and Eddie give a very creative look at a typical believer having to go through the process of discipline.
The writer of Ephesians says “For we are God’s workmanship” (Eph. 2:10). Elsewhere we’re described as a “poem.” God views us as being his original masterpiece.
I'm not sure why I revisited this but I felt like I needed to hear it again.
I wonder if you needed to see it too?
I don't want to move away from him but I want to move towards him.
I chose character over what other people think of me.
No more excuses.
If he made me good, I want to be good.
He loves me too much to leave me where I am.
He disciplines the ones he loves.
There will be trouble, but I will be of good cheer because he made the world and all that is in it.
I chose the chisel over control.
What will you choose?
