Hidden gems

Ever had one of those days when you hit "Publish" or "send" and **poof** everything you had just finished typing vanished into thin air?
Where you poured your heart vented until you were blue in the face and was determined that some one some where cared enough *cough cough** needed had to know about?
**sigh** that's exactly what has happened.

I will admit..after growling my disgust at the computer wondering if I should re-type the entire mess it hit me.
Everything happens for a reason.
I needed to get it out. 
Maybe it's because God doesn't want me to share all that with you.
Maybe I need to find the hidden gems in my day instead and focus on those.
So here are a few of my favorite from the past little while...

Giggles and her updated look just in time for school pictures because I am "that" mother who does not feel my own hair styling abilities are enough to achieve the look I was after.
And yes, we did go to McDonalds for a quick lunch (chicken nuggets, apple slices and a chocolate milk) before heading off to meet the school bus.
And yes, I didn't did feel guilty about it but have since repented for feeding my child crap and we have moved on...

Quiet moment where the girls are so captured with each other you could feel the love the two of them share making me feel like I wanted to cry. <

Enjoying a rather large blue beverage on a recent night out with friends. Ok! Okay!! I had two... But they were soooo Yummy!! It might be cold and gloomy outside.. Things might not always go my way. But, the hidden gems of my life make the world a much better place!
