So you will have to stick with me on this one!
I do have a reason for using my children's nicknames on my very public blog.
Actually, there are two reasons.
1.) there are times when I speak my mind and let it all hang out and I don't want to embarrass my children in the process.
I realize that as their mother I have the right but in totally fairness I try not too.
2) I don't know all of you who stop by to see what we are up to.
My mom or my sister might pop in from time to time or a close childhood friend but sometimes I think a lot of my visitors stumble upon my blog by accident so as their mother it is my job to protect their true identities!
Anyways, back to a name is just a name.
We aren't the only ones who comes up with creative nicknames.
Niffy nunu calls her schmoops.
which according to: urban dictionary is an "actual" word!! Well, they claim it is.
It means:
an individual or a group of individuals that has been inducted into the likeness of a schmoopie. it is considered an honor in many cultures. schmoops must be invited into the schmoop class by the 4 schmoopiest ladies. it is possible to be part of the schmoops for an hour (honorary schmoops of the hour), a day (honorary schmoops), or a lifetime ( your name + schmoops).
schmoops is always used with your name in front of it. nicknames + schmoops are also possible. (ex. baby schmoops, meat schmoops, tour manager schmoops, papaw schmoops, wild schmoops, attention schmoops)
emmy schmoops, katie schmoops, bethie schmoops, and sara schmoops are getting together tonight to schmoop it up.
Does she look like a schmoops to you?!?
